Overview

Tour Overview:

The Lemosho Route is widely considered one of Kilimanjaro’s most beautiful approaches,
offering panoramic views, varied landscapes, and excellent acclimatization. Beginning on the
remote western slopes, this less-trodden path leads through lush rainforests, dramatic moorlands,
and across the Shira Plateau before joining the southern circuit toward the summit. With an extra
day to adjust to the altitude, you’ll have the best chance for a safe and successful climb to
Africa’s rooftop — Uhuru Peak at 5,895m.
