Charter flight or long drive. Arrive afternoon; brief evening game drive near the crossing points.
Mara River — Full Crossing Day
Dawn departure to the river. Wait for crossing events with phenomenal predator activity — lions, cheetahs, leopards and enormous Nile crocodiles.
Mara River — Second Full Day
Another full day at the crossings from fresh vantage points. Sundowner drinks overlooking the northern plains.
Northern Serengeti → Arusha
Morning game drive before departing. Drive back or fly to Arusha.
About this Safari
July to October is THE season for the Migration’s Mara River crossings. Position at Kogatende right on the crossing points — you may witness multiple crossings in a single day. We pride ourselves on creating dynamic, personalized experiences allowing you to travel at your own pace.

Important Safari Briefings & Logistics
Airport Transfers: Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro (JRO) or Arusha (ARK), our representatives will be waiting with a placard bearing your name. You will be transported directly to your initial booked hotel for rest.
Briefing: The evening before or the morning of your departure, your guide will conduct a comprehensive safari briefing, going over the route, vehicle operations, and essential park rules.
Dos and Don'ts: Do respect the wildlife and keep noise to a minimum. Do not exit the vehicle unless directed by your guide in designated safe zones. Never feed the animals. We will cover all these strict national park protocols extensively during your arrival briefing!
